Spend time getting the latest policy news from leaders in Congress and the executive branch before hitting Capitol Hill to reinforce the industry’s priorities directly to decision-makers. NGWA Affiliate Organizations may register attendees at the listed NGWA member registration price, regardless of the attendees’ NGWA membership status. To register attendees, or for questions, please contact Trisha Freeman at tfreeman@ngwa.org.

Receive two complimentary registrations* to any one NGWA conference, short course, or workshop, including NGWA’s annual Groundwater Week. Affiliate Organization Peer-to-Peer Meeting

Learn from the triumphs and mistakes of your peers. Held during the annual NGWA’s Groundwater Week, this meeting of Affiliate Organization executives and officers is an open forum to discuss, and maybe solve, issues your association is currently facing. It provides a great opportunity to get feedback from other association leaders on how they have handled similar situations, as well as to expand your professional network for collaboration and ideas.

Maximizing your show’s value

Print and online convention listing

Promote your organization’s annual convention or tradeshow on NGWA’s groundwater industry events calendar, which is viewed by thousands of industry professionals each month. The conference dates, location, and a link to your association’s website will be listed free of charge.

In addition to the online listing, we will also promote your event with a complementary listing in the events section of Water Well Journal®, which is read by more than 20,000 subscribers each month.

To have your event added to the calendars, contact Trisha Freeman at tfreeman@ngwa.org.

Director representation

Affiliate Organizations may request to have a member of the NGWA Board of Directors attend their annual convention. This director will be available to give a presentation on various groundwater-related topics. NGWA will cover travel expenses for the director to and from your event. The Affiliate Organization is asked to cover the cost for the director’s lodging, meals, and any audiovisual needs. Please note that directors donate their own professional time, which may not permit participation at every requested event.

To request a director, complete a director request form and submit it to Terry Morse, CAE, CIC, at tmorse@ngwa.org.

Henry Darcy Distinguished Lecture Series in Groundwater Science

This lecture series, established in 1986, is designed to foster interest and excellence in groundwater science and technology.

Request this lecture series at your annual convention. The Groundwater Foundation will cover the lecturer’s cost of travel to and from your event. The Affiliate Organization is asked to cover the cost for the lecturer’s lodging, meals, and any audiovisual needs. Please note that the lecturer donates his or her own professional time, which may not permit participation at every requested event.

NGWA fee-based workshops

NGWA can provide access to, and scheduling of, qualified industry speakers for preplanned presentations such as:

  • Increase Your Bottom Line by Using the NGWA Drilling Cost Calculator
  • Water Supply Wells/Geothermal Boreholes: Similarities and Differences
  • Understanding the CSA Regulations: Impacts to the Groundwater Industry
  • Making Our Industry Less Risky: Addressing the Most Common Loss Areas in the Groundwater Industry
  • How Geology Influences Your Business Decisions — and Why It Should

For merchandise, NGWA will cover the first $100 of the total order, as well as the cost for standard ground shipping (3-5 business days).
